Question:108 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Justice if she will expedite registration of property for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [9475/95]
Written Answers. - Registration of Property.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that dealing No. J6807/93 refers to an application under section 49 (i.e. acquisition of title by possession) of the Registration of Title Act, 1964, which was lodged in relation to Folio No. 4121 on 26 March 1993. I understand that because of their complicated nature, such dealings take some time to process.
I am further informed, in relation to this dealing, that the Land Registry issued queries to the applicant's solicitors on 29 November 1993, to which a partial reply was received on 20 April 1995. The Land Registry wrote to the applicant's solicitors on 17 May 1995 requesting a reply in full to the queries which issued on 29 November 1993.
Finally, as regards Folio No. 4892, to which the Deputy also referred, I have been informed that there is no dealing pending on this folio.
