Vol. 453 No. 4

Written Answers. - Decentralisation Programme.

Dermot Ahern

Question:

68 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Finance the present position regarding the decentralisation programme to Dundalk, County Louth; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9505/95]

A total of 88 staff of the Revenue Commissioners have already decentralised to Dundalk and are situated in temporary accommodation on the Newry Road.

Discussions are taking place with the Department of Social Welfare regarding the decentralisation of staff from their Department to Dundalk. It is hoped that these discussions will be finalised shortly.
