Written Answers. - Tipperary Office Site.

Noel Davern

Question:

75 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Finance the number of sites that have been offered in answer to the Office of Public Works' request for a suitable site for the new Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry offices in Tipperary town; if each one will be inspected individually; and when he expects a decision will be reached. [9557/95]

A total of 21 applications were received in reply to the recent newspaper advertisement seeking a suitable site for new Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry offices in Tipperary town. These are being individually examined and assessed at present.

Applications which are considered suitable to meet the needs of the Department will be inspected in the coming weeks.

The procedure will be completed as soon as possible.
