The following political advisers and programme managers from outside the permanent public service have been appointed in the Department of Finance.
I have appointed a programme manager on an annual salary of £42,894.00 with an allowance of 11 per cent in lieu of superannuation. I have also appointed a special adviser on an annual salary of £42,894.00 with an allowance of 12 per cent in lieu of superannuation.
The Minister of State, Deputy Avril Doyle, has appointed a personal assistant on an annual salary of £18,404.00
The Minister of State, Deputy Hugh Coveney, will be appointing a special adviser. Details of this appointment are not yet finalised.
