Vol. 454 No. 3

Written Answers. - Tallaght (Dublin) Sewerage Scheme.

Mary Harney

Question:

124 Miss Harney asked the Minister for the Environment when funding will be released to south Dublin County Council under the small schemes programme in relation to their application under this scheme for a foul sewer for Kiltalown Cottages, Tallaght, Dublin 24. [10761/95]

The recent allocation of some £2.15 million in grants for small water and sewerage schemes included one grant approval for each county council area. The scheme approved for South Dublin County Council was in respect of sewage treatment at Perrystown, at a total cost of £114,000, with grant assistance of £75,000. My Department is not at present in a position to provide funding for the scheme referred to in the question.
