Question:

141 Mr. Mulvihill asked the Minister for Justice the projects and the amounts of money which have already received approval for lottery funding for which the funding has not yet been paid. [10876/95]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 139, 140 and 141 together.

The purposes for which the net proceeds of the national lottery may be applied are those as defined in section 5 of the National Lottery Act, 1986. None of the general purposes as defined by that section comes within the scope of my Department's activities and I can inform the Deputy that there was no national lottery funding disbursed by my Department in the period 1990 to 1994 and there are, at present, no projects involving national lottery funding either approved or awaiting approval for 1995.
