Vol. 454 No. 4

Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Colm M. Hilliard

Question:

128 Mr. Hilliard asked the Minister for the Environment the current position in relation to applications (details supplied) for funding under the small scheme programme, 1995, which were submitted by Meath County Council. [10961/95]

The recent allocation of some £2.15 million in grants for small water and sewerage schemes included one grant approval for each county council area. The scheme approved for Meath County Council was in respect of an integrated water project for Kilmain-hamwood, Summerhill, Enfield and Longwood for which grant assistance of some £71,000 is being made available. My Department is not at present in a position to provide funding for other small scheme proposals.
