John Mulvihill

Question:

127 Mr. Mulvihill asked the Minister for the Environment the projects and the amounts of money which have already received approval for lottery funding for which the funding has not yet been paid. [10889/95]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 125, 126 and 127 together.

Information on national lottery funding relevant to my Department, including details of recipients and amounts paid, is set out in my Department's Appropriation Accounts. These are published with the annual reports of the Comptroller and Auditor General, and copies are available in the Oireachtas Library in respect of the years 1990 to 1993. Information on the 1994 position is contained in the following tables. The 1995 provisions are set out in the 1995 Revised Estimates for Public Services, copies of which are available in the Oireachtas Library.

Proposals for projects to be financed by national lottery funds are processed through various stages in my Department, involving both technical assessment and management of demand to match available resources. Payments in relation to approved projects are made in instalments, or following completion-certification of projects. Subject to the foregoing, there are no projects which have been approved but not funded.
