Of the above list of EU Directives 15 are overdue for transposition. In some of these cases it is necessary to put new primary legislation in place and, in other cases, to finalise consultations with the Attorney General's Office. Progress is constantly being monitored and everything possible is being done to ensure the speedy transposition of the Directives.
