John Ellis

Question:

67 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Defence if he will have arrangements made to grant an old IRA widow's pension to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim. [11573/95]

The person in question has applied for a widow's allowance under the Army Pensions Acts, She has been requested to supply a grant of administration in respect of her late husband in order that her application may be processed. As soon as the grant of administration is received in the Department, the question of granting a widows's allowance will be pursued promptly.
