60 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Education if she will allow the school building project in a disadvantaged area (details supplied) in County Mayo to proceed, in view of the fact that a sufficient local contribution has been made and the prospect of collecting the balance is remote in the particular circumstances. It is not possible to allow the building project at this school to proceed until the required local contribution is lodged to my Department. The contribution required by my Department is the standard 15 per cent of the cost of the project.
