Vol. 456 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Offaly Land.

Pat Gallagher

Question:

78 Mr. Gallagher (Laoighis-Offaly) asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will investigate the granting of land (details supplied) in County Offaly by the Land Commission and confirm that this grant included right of way on the access road. [14001/95]

The lands in question comprised part of the Judge Wakely Estate which the Land Commissioners vested in 1935 and which was subsequently registered by the Land Registry Office — Folio 8261. The Land Commission documents show a right of way exists over these lands.

The folio number quoted by the Deputy refers to a division which took place subsequent to the above mentioned legislation. I would suggest, therefore, that the person concerned take the matter up with the Land Registry Office.
