My Department regularly informs State bodies under the aegis of my Department of their responsibilities to ensure that all tendering procedures accord with the relevant EU Directives on Public Procurement. A number of information sessions about the implications of the Directives took place in 1993-94. These Directives have since been incorporated into the Public Procurement Booklet, 1994 edition.
