Treacy asked the Minister for Education if she will immediately sanction funding and facilities for a school (details supplied) in County Galway; the date on which the sanction will be given; the amount of funding to be allocated; the facilities to be provided; and if she will make a statement on the matter. An application for additional accommodation was received in my Department from the school in question.
As this application is at the early stages of evaluation, it is not possible, in the circumstances, to provide the details requested by the Deputy.
However, as soon as the evaluation is completed, the Department will be in contact with the school authorities.
