Vol. 456 No. 8

Written Answers. - YWCA Project.

Tony Gregory

Question:

49 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment if the YWCA has received approval for funding for social housing in the Dublin area; and if he will give details of any such funding; and the projects applied for. [14790/95]

Grants of £114,000 have been paid under the capital assistance scheme in respect of the provision by the YWCA of housing accommodation at Trench House, Crosthwaite Park East, Dún Laoghaire.

An instalment of £50,000 of a grant towards the provision by the association of housing accommodation at Radcliff Hall, St. Johns Road, Sandymount, Dublin 4 was approved in 1994. Clarification is awaited from Dublin Corporation, who administer the scheme in the area, of certain details relating to the number of units in, and costs of, the project. No payment has so far been made in respect of this project.
