I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order No. 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Ó Cuív — the need for dredging to be carried out in Inishbofin harbour; (2) Deputy Sargent — the temporary closure of Garda stations in north Fingal due to the escorting of young offenders to locations outside Dublin; (3) Deputy Joe Walsh — the progress that has been made with regard to obtaining £10 million for Ireland from the stalled EU Poverty IV Programme and (4) Deputy Theresa Ahearn — the delay in sanctioning an additional teacher for Crehana national school, Carrick-on-Suir. The matters raised by Deputies Walsh, Ahearn, Sargent and Ó Cuív have been selected for discussion.
