Question:

89 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Education the reason facilities have not been upgraded at a location (details supplied) in County Galway; the reason for the delay in having this matter dealt with; the date on which a decision will be taken; the amount of money being allocated; the facilities to be provided; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15261/95]

My Department is awaiting a report on the condition of this school from the Galway office of the Office of Public Works. I understand that the office is extremely busy at present, but it expects to be able to complete the report within the next couple of weeks.

As soon as the report has been received, and considered, the school will be informed of the position.
