273 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will give a detailed breakdown of the expenses incurred by him and the Minister of State at his Department since taking office amounting to £3,512 and £2,147 respectively, referred to as other expenses in Parliamentary Question No. 99 on Thursday, 19 October 1995. 1. Expenditure Charged to Minister.

(i) Official Entertainment.	£

(ii) Gifts to foreign dignitaries.	142
Total	2,610*

* The figure of £3,512 given in the previous reply includes an amount of £902 relating to expenses incurred during the term of office of the former Minister but not paid until this year.
