Question:300 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if there will be no change in the milk quota system in 1996 in view of his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 119 of Wednesday 18 October 1995. [16082/95]
Written Answers. - Milk Quota Regulations.
While I do not expect any significant changes in the milk quota system in 1996, I cannot rule out changes in that, or indeed any year. As I have already stated, it is my policy to keep the operation of the milk quota system in Ireland under review on an ongoing basis. Should this review give rise to the need for amendment to existing Regulations, I will take whatever action is necessary in the circumstances.
