Vol. 457 No. 7

Written Answers. - National Development Plan.

James Leonard

Question:

60 Mr. Leonard asked the Minister for the Environment the plans, if any, he has to review those elements of the National Development Plan which pertain to his Department's responsibilities in view of the peace process. [15910/95]

Substantial resources are being devoted to development in the Border counties under the Community Support Framework and the various Community Initiatives. In the light of the peace process, I am keeping under review the possibilities for refocusing the programmes for which my Department is responsible in order to provide additional support for the area.
