Treacy asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a project (details supplied) in County Galway has not been sanctioned; the date on which this application was received by his Department; the date on which it will be sanctioned; the amount of grants to be allocated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Grant applications were received from the group on 24 October, 1995; tender proposals had already been received on 10 October, 1995. Both are now being examined in my Department.
