52 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health, arising from his reply to Parliamentary Question 129 of 7 November 1995, if he will convey the written evidence (details supplied) to the relevant decision maker; and if he will request an explanation for the withdrawal of the medical card in this instance. Limerick East): The further details submitted by the Deputy in connection with this matter have been forwarded to the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board as requested.
I should like to point out that my previous reply explained the factors which were assessed by the health board in the decision reached.
I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to have the matter reviewed in the light of the latest information supplied and to communicate the outcome of this review directly to the Deputy.
