A scheme of grant assistance for waste recovery activities by the public and private sectors has been developed by my Department under the waste management sub-programme of the Operational Programme for Environmental Services, 1994-99 and has recently been approved by the European Commission. Information on the scheme will be published shortly and will also be sent directly to the company referred to in the question.
