Question:

75 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Taoiseach if he intends to make a grant available to the Togher Pre-School and Family Centre, Cork under the grants in support of the local development scheme. [19296/96]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 74 and 75 together: 160 applications were received under the Department's discretionary grant scheme, which was advertised in national newspapers. The closing date for receipt of applications was 15 December, 1995.

All applications, including those from the Grange Frankfield Community Association and Togher Pre-School and Family Centre, will be given very careful consideration during the selection process which will be completed in the near future.
