Vol. 460 No. 3

Written Answers. - Income Tax Refund.

Michael Creed

Question:

141 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Cork is entitled to a refund of income tax. [1209/96]

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that they have not received an application for a refund of tax from the taxpayer. In order that his case may be reviewed, he should submit a completed form P50 together with his P45, parts 2 and 3, to his inspector of taxes. If there is an overpayment of tax it will be refunded as soon as possible.
