Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Travellers' Halting Site.

Eric J. Byrne

Question:

57 Mr. E. Byrne asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the compulsory purchase order of land at Kimmage Manor in Terenure, Dublin 6, in view of the interest expressed by the South Dublin County Council in acquiring a portion of land for a travellers' halting site for which an oral public hearing has been held; when he intends to make his response to the inspector's report on the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1510/96]

I am not yet in a position to give a decision on the South Dublin County Council Compulsory Purchase (Kimmage Manor) Order, 1995, but I assure the Deputy that there will be no avoidable delay in processing matters arising from the inquiry and in the final determination of the case.
