Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Gorey (Wexford) Community School.

John Browne

Question:

73 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Education if she will have arrangements made to have protective fencing erected at the river bank adjacent to Gorey Community School in County Wexford as a matter of urgency further to her reply to a parliamentary question in April 1995. [1524/96]

The erection of protective fencing at the river bank adjacent to Gorey Community School in County Wexford is still under consideration in my Department. Further to the parliamentary question of April 1995 it was subsequently decided to seek additional information regarding costings in advance of a meeting with the board of management. The information regarding costings is to hand and has been evaluated. It is now expected to meet the board of management of the school within the next month.
