142 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make a statement on the Government's opposition to tolling the Dublin Ring Road; and if he will confirm that in the final analysis it will be a Government decision and not a decision of the National Roads Authority. [1724/96]

I refer to the reply to Questions Nos. 4, 59 and 182 of 7 November 1995 which sets out the position in relation to tolling. The position is unchanged.
