I have been informed by the Garda authorities that a complaint has been received in relation to the running of a lottery under the Gaming and Lotteries Act, 1956, by a local radio station in Mallow, County Cork and that the matter is the subject of a Garda investigation. I understand that this station is now complying with Article 5 of the Periodical Lotteries Regulations, 1961.
