107 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Education the current number of personnel working in her ministerial offices and the office of her Minister of State; the number of personnel that have been seconded or employed on a non-established contract basis; the competition process for filling such positions; the advertisements, if any, made regarding these appointments. There are 25 civil servants, wholetime equivalent, and eight contract staff employed in my general and private ministerial offices and in those of the Ministers of State in my Department.

All contract staff are employed on a non-established contract basis. There was no competition process to fill these positions and no advertisements regarding any of these appointments.
