70 Mr. O'Malley asked the Minister for Justice whether the conditions of paramilitary prisoners released have been affected by the recent breach of the IRA ceasefire in relation to the phased release of paramilitary prisoners; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3909/96]

The Government has not approved any releases of paramilitary prisoners since the Canary Wharf bombing. The situation is being kept under constant review. The conditions for such prisoners inside our prisons remain the same as they were before the Canary Wharf bomb.
