Vol. 462 No. 1

Written Answers. - Patient Transfer.

Tony Gregory

Question:

70 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health if he will have arrangements made for the transfer of a person (details supplied) from the acute ward, James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin, to the residential unit in Cherry Orchard Hospital, Dublin 10 in view of the fact that his family live close by and can visit and care for him. [4078/96]

Limerick East): As the Deputy is aware the provision of long-stay care in Cherry Orchard Hospital is a matter for the Eastern Health Board. I am having the case raised by the Deputy investigated and I will write separately to the Deputy with the findings.
