Question:219 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry whether milk quota will be transferred from Midwest to Kilmaley, County Clare, under section 12 of the milk quota regulations. [4853/96]
Written Answers. - Milk Quota Transfer.
Regulation 12 (12) of the European Communities (Milk Quota) Regulations, 1995 provides, as an exception to the general producer transfer rules which are subject to specific time limits, that a producer may apply directly to the Minister for the transfer of quota from one milk purchaser to another. I have received no such application in respect of the transfer referred to by the Deputy.
