Question:102 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Justice if a replacement copy of a land certificate (details supplied) has issued to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [5362/96]
Written Answers. - County Cork Land Certificate Application.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application for a replacement Land Certificate was lodged on 6 December 1995. Queries were issued to the applicant's solicitor to which a partial reply was received. The application cannot be processed further until a full reply has been received. However, I would like to make the Deputy aware that I have been informed by the Registrar that an application of this type involves lengthy inquiries, including advertisements endeavouring to locate the original certificate, and can, therefore, take a considerable amount of time to process.
