269 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education the total number of primary schools in the country; and the number of schools that have access to remedial teaching facilities. [6568/96]

There are 3,203 ordinary primary schools in the country.

A total of 2,285 primary schools have access to remedial teaching facilities.
