Vol. 463 No. 6

Written Answers. - Claim Review.

Thomas P. Broughan

Question:

118 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Finance if he will review the disallowance of a claim for a travelling allowance by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5 who works in the Revenue Commissioners. [7169/96]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the individual concerned had no entitlement to the travelling allowance which he claimed for the period 1980-1986 because he did not meet the conditions attaching to the payment of this allowance. The individual's claim has been considered on a number of occasions and he has been informed of the reasons he did not quality for the allowance.
