Question:

102 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment the amount of funding allocated for discretionary road grants in respect of county and regional roads in counties Monaghan and Cavan in each of the years from 1990 to date. [7570/96]

Grant payments to county councils for non-national roads are not subdivided on the basis of road categories.

The information requested is set out in the following table:

3. Specific grant allocations under the EU co-financed scheme, the Interreg programme and the Peace Initiative, together with grants for the reopening of cross-Border roads, are not included.
