Hugh Byrne

Question:

115 Mr. H. Byrne asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the dangerous condition of the floor in the general purposes room at Murrintown national school, County Wexford; if she will sanction the provision of a new carpet for the floor; when these works will commence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [7385/96]

My Department has no record of an application from Murrintown national school for grant assistance towards the cost of improving the floor of the general purposes room. If an application is received it will be considered and the school notified of the outcome.
