I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Noel Ahern — the unsatisfactory nature of the reply given by the Minister for Justice to Parliamentary Question No. 48 of 2 April 1996 which dealt with the confiscation of cars which are idiomatically referred to as company cars; (2) Deputy Shortall — the need to tackle illegal drug dealers by establishing a special unit involving the Garda Síochána, the Revenue Commissioners and the Department of Social Welfare; (3) Deputy de Valera — the proposals concerning the flood relief plan with particular reference to the River Fergus from the Mill Road to Bank Place in Ennis, County Clare; (4) Deputy Mary Wallace — the imminent loss of the basic personal assistance service by a number of people (details supplied) with significant disabilities; (5) Deputy Crawford — the need for the introduction of headage payments for deer farmers in view of the serious financial difficulties being experienced; (6) Deputy Costello — the need to expedite the transfer of Irish prisoners under the Transfer of Sentenced Persons Act, 1995; (7) Deputy Flanagan — the need to regulate the problem of roaming wild goats in County Offaly; (8) Deputy Michael Kitt — whether funding will be provided for new development services (details supplied) for mentally handicapped children and adults in the Western Health Board region; (9) Deputy O'Rourke — the action, if any, which the Minister for Enterprise and Employment will take in the light of the Oldfields affair and whether the Minister considers it necessary to amend company law.

The matters raised by Deputies de Valera, Ahern, O'Rourke and Crawford have been selected for discussion.
