110 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Justice if she will consider the position of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who is currently in Mountjoy Prison and who wishes to be transferred to the Training Unit, Glengariff Parade, Dublin 7. [7938/96]

I have given every consideration to this offender's case and I am not prepared to authorise a transfer to the training unit for him at this stage of his sentence. However, I will, of course, continue to keep this case under review.
