65 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Health the total funding that will be provided by his Department in 1996 for the provision of nursing units for the elderly in the North-Eastern Health Board area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8439/96]
, Limerick East): Nursing units at Drogheda, Virginia and Ballyconnell are included in my Department's capital programme for services for the elderly over the next number of years. I will be in touch with the North-Eastern Health Board within the next few weeks regarding the specific amounts of capital funding to be made available in 1996 for each project.
