Vol. 465 No. 1

Written Answers. - Cross-Border Development.

James Leonard

Question:

98 Mr. Leonard asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he has satisfied himself in respect of the level of co-operation in the field of culture and arts between the North-South cross-Border development in order to ensure an adequate take-up of the available funding. [9282/96]

I am satisfied that there exists a sufficient level of co-operation between arts and culture organisations in the Border areas to allow for all funding which is available for arts and culture projects under the INTERREG II and Peace and Reconciliation Programmes to be availed of fully.
