157 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Education the building projects being processed in the primary and post-primary building branch of her Department as at 31 December 1995; the total projected cost of each of these projects; and the stage reached by each of these projects on that date. [9633/96]
The detailed information sought by the Deputy is not readily available and I cannot justify assigning scarce staff resources to its compilation. In any event, it is not the practice to publish cost details on individual school projects as doing so could prejudice the competitive tendering process and negotiations with individual builders about final accounts.
If the Deputy has a query on any particular school, I will be happy to provide appropriate information on the project.
