158 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to recognise a college (details supplied) in County Tyrone for grant purposes in 1996; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9634/96]
In general, the type of course referred to by the Deputy is not eligible for student support under the higher education grants scheme or the ESF maintenance grants scheme. However, two courses at the college in question, including the course referred to by the Deputy, have been approved for inclusion in the 1996 vocational education committees' scholarships scheme.
