173 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Education the total number of scholarships available to students from other countries to participate in summer schools in this country; the location and value of these scholarships; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9707/96]

Summer school scholarships to students from other countries are as follows:

These scholarships are tenable at University College Dublin, University College Cork, and University College Galway for attendance at courses in language, English or Irish, and culture. Provision is made for these scholarships under cultural agreements and all are reciprocal.
