Question:182 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice if she will expedite a request for a folio number for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that it is required urgently. [9447/96]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of titles that the registration referred to by the Deputy involves the vesting of property on foot of a land commission schedule and an application for transmission on death of the lands, which were originally vested by the land commission, to the successor in title.
I am informed that queries in relation to this registration were issued to the land commission on 20 February 1996 and that a reply is awaited.
