Treacy asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction a service (details supplied) in County Galway; if his attention has been drawn to the urgency and gravity of this situation; the date on which sanction will be given; if he will give details of the service to be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are no proposals with my Department at present for improvement works or the provision of an alternative source of supply for the Eyrecourt-Laurencetown scheme. If such a proposal is received, my Department will consider it.
