164 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment when the Government intends to ratify the additional Protocol to the European Social Charter, providing for a system of collective complaints adopted on 22 June 1996. [9931/96]

We are giving careful consideration to whether we can ratify this Protocol which, so far, has been ratified by only one member state of the Council of Europe.
