107 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Health the total cost of ministerial foreign travel in 1995; if he will give a breakdown of this cost; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10300/96]

Limerick East): The following is the total cost of ministerial foreign travel in 1995 broken down by Minister:

Mr. Michael Noonan, TD, Minister for Health: £37,284.98. This reflects the total cost of travel to six different destinations (the details of which have already been supplied to the Deputy), including six return trips by the Minister and 20 return trips by accompanying officers of the Department.

Mr. Brian O'Shea, TD, Minister of State: £23,053.46. This reflects the total cost of travel to three different destinations (the details of which have already been supplied to the Deputy), including three return trips by the Minister and ten return trips by accompanying officers of the Department.

Mr. Austin Currie, TD, Minister of State: £10,593.81. This reflects the total cost of travel to two different destinations (the details of which have already been supplied to the Deputy), including four return trips by the Minister and his partner and five return trips by accompanying officers of the Department.
