Vol. 465 No. 6

Written Answers. - Psychiatric Admittance.

Willie O'Dea

Question:

114 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Health the representations, if any, he has received regarding a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the local community council, the local school management and this person's family are anxious that he should be admitted to a psychiatric institution; and the actions, if any, he intends to take in this regard. [10141/96]

Limerick East): I am sure the Deputy will appreciate that it would be inappropriate of me to reply in the House to his question as it involves clinical details of an individual patient.

I confirm however, that I have received representations regarding the patient referred to and I will communicate separately with the Deputy in the matter as soon as possible.
